Every journey is an opportunity to serve.

Carry encouragement across the hills. Bring bread to a household in need. Help restore a village well. In Sent Forth, thoughtful choices and a well-prepared pack can make all the difference.

This Christian-themed solo card game invites you into a biblical-era world of practical service. Complete twelve missions by choosing the right resources, managing setbacks, and learning how to prepare for the road ahead.

One Journey. Three Ways To Play.

Play in your browser

Start a journey right on the website. The web version handles the cards and calculations, includes Guided Practice, and saves progress in the browser on your current device. No account is required.

Play on your Windows PC

Download the ZIP, extract it, and launch SentForth.exe. Enjoy the illustrated courtyard setting, automatic counting, campaign training, and local saved progress. Windows 10/11 with .NET Framework 4.x is required. Once downloaded, the game plays offline.

Play with real cards

Prefer cards on the table? Download the printable rules and play sheets. Bring a standard 52-card deck with two Jokers, a pencil, and up to six small markers. The printable pack includes US Letter and A4 editions, illustrated rules, low-ink rules, and play sheets.

A Little Preparation Goes A Long Way

Each mission asks you to meet two requirements: play at least the required number of Resource cards and reach the exact contribution target. Cards matching the mission’s suit normally contribute zero, but they still count toward the number of cards played. Complications raise the challenge, and Jokers can block precious space in your pack.

Choose carefully. A useful card now might be exactly what you need on the next leg of the journey.

Choose Your Journey

Campaign

Begin with five Experience and purchase training between journeys. Completed missions earn Experience to help you prepare for future attempts.

Mission Day

Choose a set of abilities within a ten-point budget for a standalone journey. It is a fresh challenge without changing your campaign progress.

Guided Practice — digital versions

Learn with a prepared opening and helpful prompts. The game walks you through the first two missions so you can see how card count, suit restrictions, and exact totals work together.

Ready for a tougher road? Select Rough Roads in either Campaign or Mission Day: every King mission receives two complications.

Faith Expressed Through Service

Sent Forth centers on encouragement, generosity, hospitality, and helping neighbors. Its challenges are about using what you have wisely. Experience represents practical preparation; it does not measure salvation or God’s favor.

Help Shape The Journey

Sent Forth is available free as an alpha playtest. Try a journey and share what worked, what confused you, and anything that did not behave as expected. If reporting an issue, please include the version, whether you played on Windows or the web, and a screenshot if possible.

A Few Things To Know

Do I need another player?

No. Sent Forth is designed for solo play.

Does progress transfer between the web and Windows versions?

No. Windows progress stays on your PC. Web progress stays in the browser on the device you used. Clearing browser site data can remove web progress.

Do I need to install anything for the web game?

No installation or account is required to play in your browser.

Which version should I start with?

The digital Guided Practice is a helpful first step. If you enjoy shuffling and handling real cards, try the printable edition too.

READY TO BE SENT FORTH?

Choose your provisions. Prepare for the road. See how far faithful service can take you.
