The city holds the clues

Every rumor is a lead.
Not every lead is true.

A new beast arrives every thirteen years. Now the eleventh approaches, and the secret order beneath All-Hallows-The-Great needs an inquisitor willing to uncover its weaknesses.

Travel the connected streets of London as rumors spread and the beast draws closer. Each day gives you only two actions. Make them count.

  1. Investigate

Spend an action at a rumor token to draw a card and discover a witness’s account of the beast.

  2. Verify

Return to All-Hallows to test your findings. False rumors fall away; true ones become learned secrets.

  3. Hunt

Use verified wards and weapons to gain up to five dice. Your lowest roll decides the encounter.

Let the dice tell its name

Three rolls.
One name to fear.

Roll the eight-sided die three times to reveal your quarry’s name before the hunt begins. Then watch the green dice tumble as you investigate, verify, and face the beast.

More knowledge gives you more dice. In a hunt, a lowest roll of 1 or 2 slays the beast. Three wounds end your journey.
