Rebuilding Called to Follow PC 1.0

Runtime: official Electron 44.7.0 win32-x64 release ZIP.
https://github.com/electron/electron/releases/tag/v44.7.0
Verify its SHA256 against the official release's SHASUMS256.txt before use.

The application source is in ../resources/app relative to this Source folder.
main.cjs: native window, menus, scoped IPC, export and PDF handling.
preload.cjs: isolated bridge exposing only the required desktop operations.
storage.cjs: atomic journal writes, recovery, and replaced-journey archive.
renderer/: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, content data, bundled artwork.

For local development, install Electron 44.7.0 in a development folder and run:
  electron path/to/resources/app

Packaging is buildless: extract the official Windows Electron archive, replace
electron.exe's icon/version resources with brand.cjs, rename to
Called-to-Follow.exe, remove resources/default_app.asar, and copy the game into
resources/app. Preserve the runtime support files and upstream license notices.
Do not ship journal files, development node_modules, or test output.

The supplied brand.cjs expects paths relative to the original project root:
app/icon.ico, build/windows/electron.exe, and build/tooling/node_modules.
Tooling versions: resedit 3.1.0 (with pe-library 2.0.1); jsdom 27.4.0 for tests.
Adjust those paths if rebuilding from the extracted release.

Automated tests are in tests/. They expect application source under app/.
Use node tests/storage.cjs and node tests/desktop-bridge.cjs for storage and
native host contract checks. UI tests additionally need jsdom in
build/tooling/node_modules. Execute node tests/ui.cjs. These tests do not claim
that Windows itself was exercised or that actual PDF rendering was inspected.

Artwork: generated watercolor scenes for the approved game, including the
Galilean lakeshore cover, a first-century supper table/basin, and an open
garden tomb at dawn. The icon is a format-converted copy of the cover artwork.
